French pancakes recipe



For about 20-30 pancakes depending on the size


Ingredients:

- 500g flour

- 100g caster sugar

- 5 eggs

- 1 tablespoon canola oil

- 1 litre milk

- Vanilla extract or orange blossom water for taste


Preparation:

  1. Mix the dry ingredients.

  2. Make a well in the center. Add the eggs.

  3. Mix with a wooden spoon.

  4. Slowly whisk in the milk and the wet ingredients.

  5. Grease a hot pan with a bit of oil or butter.

  6. Pour a big spoonful of the batter and move around the pan using your wrist to evenly spread the batter on the pan.

  7. After a few minutes, flip the pan and cook the other side for a few more minutes. Be careful as your pan will be extra hot so it will not take long for your crepes to be ready!

  8. Repeat operation by adding a bit of oil for every 2-3 crepes until all crepes are done.

  9. Enjoy with jam, honey, lemon and sugar (our favorite) or chocolate spread!
