I would like to thank my mum for letting me share her delicious recipe with you.
Ingredients
Shortcrust pastry (store bought or homemade)
2-3 sliced tomatoes
1 tuna can (flaked is best)
100 ml of liquid cream (add about 75ml of sour cream diluted with 25ml of water)
50 g grated cheese (Swiss is best)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Fresh basil
Pepper
Preparation:
Preheat the oven at 400° F.
Spread your pastry over your dish and use a fork to prick the pastry, then spread the mustard.
Dry the tuna and flake it (if not already), then add it onto the mustard with the tomato slices.
Pour the cream, and add the pepper, basil and cheese on top.
Bake for 30 min or until golden brown.
Enjoy cold with a fresh salad! (It's even better the next day)
