Sicilian Pizza Dough Recipe

Ciao friends and family,


Wouldn't you love to travel to Italy right now? Same. So we decided to bring a bit of Sicily to you. Enjoy!


Ingredients for 2 pizzas:

  • 500g flour (mix of white and whole wheat but optional)

  • 10g salt

  • 250 ml water

  • 75 ml olive oil

  • 1/2 package of yeast


Preparation:

  1. Mix the flour and salt

  2. In a separate bowl, add water, oil and yeast. Give it a stir and let aside for 5min.

  3. Make a well in the center of your dry ingredients and pour your liquids.

  4. Mix with your hands.

  5. On a clean floured surface, work the dough for 5-10min until you get a soft ball.

  6. Put the dough back in the bowl, cover with a wet cloth and let it rest for 30min.

  7. Cut in half and roll until you reach desired thickness.

  8. Add your toppings.

  9. Bake for 15-20min at 400F.
